In an infernal supper club, a story of seduction and damnation unfolds when the devil takes the form of a burlesque dancer to bargain for the eternal souls of the entire audience. Ecdysiastical alchemist Jonny Porkpie calls forth the diabolical Nasty Canasta to seduce guests with all the temptations that the underworld can offer: burlesque beauties bent to a fiendish will; feats of sideshow and variety skill purchased at an unthinkable price; humor with a dark intent. Travel with sirens, freaks, and demons on a burlesque tour of the nether regions. Because when Pinchbottom makes a deal with the devil, it's going to get hot.

Corio, home of the hit show "This Is Burlesque", is thrilled to announce that it is teaming with Pinchbottom (the "Best Burlesque" in NYC -Village Voice, New York Magazine) to present Pinchbottom's DEViLiSH every Wednesday. Each week, Nasty Canasta, Jonny Porkpie and a bevy of guest stars will use their god-given talents in burlesque and sideshow to tell the tale of a damned man's obsession with a beautiful devil.

"We're couldn't be more excited to have Pinchbottom develop DEViLiSH especially to be presented at Corio," said Lindsey Hamma, Event Coordinator for the venue. "We've been looking for the perfect show to complement This is Burlesque -- something just as great, but also completely different. We could think of no one better to do that than Pinchbottom."

"Pinchbottom has never done a weekly show before," said producer Jonny Porkpie. "Nor have we had the chance to run any of our previous productions in previews. We're having fun with it -- changing things every week just to see what will happen. In October, we're trying out an entirely different script, because we felt like it."

Pinchbottom's patented mix of scripted burlesque, humor, sexiness, and plot heats up the Corio stage with "DEViLiSH". The show continues in previews Wednesday in October. "DEViLiSH" joins "PRETENÇIÓN: un cirque de burlesque, un burlesque de cirque" (10/18 at Spiegelworld) as part of Pinchbottom's fall lineup.

Explore the inner mind of burlesque with 'Pinchbottom's Sub:Conscious.' Each monthly journey centers around a different theme, linking together striptease and variety acts from top performers with a topical narrative... and, believe it or not, a plot. 'Pinchbottom's Sub:Conscious' is where burlesque meets downtown theater, buys it a drink and takes it to bed. The show is hosted by NASTY CANASTA & JONNY PORKPIE, who should probably not be described at the Lunt-Fontannes of the New York Burlesque scene, although they do perform together with alarming frequency. "Comedy and partial nudity go remarkably well together. Where else can you hoot, whistle, and bust a gut laughing?" -NY Theatre.com; "Hilarious burlesque" -Next Magazine; "Your perverted genre fantasies have come shimmying to life" -Time Out New York
