PINCHBOTTOM'S 2-NIGHT BROADWAY EXTRAVAGANZA Full moon shines on the Great White Way in "Bottoms Over Broadway" Fri July 20 & Sat July 21 at 10pm BOTTOMS OVER BROADWAY burlesque goes legit at Collective:Unconscious, 279 Church Street, TriBeCa Admission: $15 | Beer & Wine Bar Tickets: www.pinchbottom.com/tickets/ or 212-352-3101 Hot on the heels of Broadway doing burlesque (in "Broadway Bares"), Burlesque does Broadway right back, and twice as hard, at Pinchbottom's Sub: Conscious. Pinchbottom kicks off the first of its new regular two-night runs with a kickline in the spectacular extravaganza BOTTOMS OVER BROADWAY. When NASTY CANASTA and JONNY PORKPIE are offered the chance to bring Pinchbottom to Broadway, they immediately call on all of the talented and wonderful people who helped make their off-off-Broadway show such a hit... to ask them to audition, Chorus Line-style. But can AMBER RAY, ANITA COOKIE, BASTARD KEITH, BELLE BAUDELAIRE, BONNIE DUNN, CLAMS CASINO, DELIRIUM TREMENS, GIGI LA FEMME, LUKKI, NAUGHTIA NICE, PEEKABOO POINTE, SCOTT RAYOW, and TIGGER help Pinchbottom hit just the right balance of schlock, cheese and overblown production numbers necessary to appeal to a Broadway audience? Or will they resort to doing burlesque tributes to existing "classics", such as Cats, My Fair Lady, Chicago, Jukebox Musicals, The Glass Menagerie, and everything in between? In this Broadway extravaganza, there's only one rule: No Gypsy. BOTTOMS OVER BROADWAY will be the first of Pinchbottom's regular 2-night events. According to Tom Keenan, producer for Collective:Unconscious, "We had to turn people away 13 of the past 14 shows, so we decided to give audiences twice the opportunity to see each monthly edition of the show New York Magazine called 'the Best Burlesque in New York', and the Burlesque Hall of Fame awarded the 'Most Innovative' trophy in the 2007 Exotic World pageant." Twice the Pinchbottom: Twice the fun, twice the boobs, twice as flimsy premises! And even though it's the same show twice, it's never the same show twice. As an extra bonus, in order to provide audiences with the full Broadway experience, Pinchbottom is pleased to announce a new premium ticket pricing level for this show only. General admission remains $15, but ticketbuyers also have the option to choose BROADWAY-STYLE PRICING, and pay $110 per ticket. "Broadway-Style" tickets offer exactly the same features as the regular $15 tickets, except they cost more, and are therefore worth more. Each monthly journey centers around a different theme, linking together striptease and variety acts from top performers with a topical narrative... and, believe it or not, a plot. 'Pinchbottom's Sub:Conscious' is where burlesque meets downtown theater, buys it a drink and takes it to bed. Hosted by NASTY CANASTA & JONNY PORKPIE, who should probably not be described at the Lunt-Fontannes of the New York Burlesque scene, although they do perform together with alarming frequency. "Wicked senses of humor" -The Village Voice (A Voice Choice); "Comedy and partial nudity go remarkably well together. Where else can you hoot, whistle, and bust a gut laughing?" -NY Theatre.com; "Hilarious burlesque" -Next Magazine; "Your perverted genre fantasies have come shimmying to life" -Time Out New York
