NASTY CANASTA and JONNY PORKPIE take the podium to host an award-winning night of big screen burlesque paying homage to the best movies ever made... and some of the worst. As the night goes on, and tensions rise, only one question remains: Who will take home the coveted Pinchy™? And where will she put it? Okay, that's two questions. And the nominees are... ALBERT CADABRA, ANITA COOKIE, CREAMY STEVENS, DIRTY DADDY, GIGI LA FEMME, JO BOOBS, LITTLE BROOKLYN, NAUGHTIA NICE, PRECIOUS LITTLE, RUBY VALHALLA, SCARLET SINCLAIR, SCOTT RAYOW, and VERONIKA SWEET.

These burlesque stars will twirl tassels in tribute to films from the Academy's 79 years of award-issuing, from 1950's best-picture-winning All About Eve to the uncontested favorite for best picture in 2007, Miami Vice. The movies, actors, directors, and costume-makers honored represent over 69 Oscar nods, and thirty winners of the phallic statuettes, not to mention a few high-profile losers. (Jonny Depp and Harry Potter, anyone?) From great movies that just won't stop spawning laughable sequels (Rocky, Silence of the Lambs) to laughable directors (Quentin Tarantino) that spawn winning biopics (Ed Wood), to losing films that launched Oscar-winning careers (Taxi Driver), plus the most nominated and winning-est films ever (Titanic), and more, FILM STRIP takes on Hollywood as only Pinchbottom can: by taking it off.
