After the sold-out April premiere, Pinchbottom Burlesque returns to Collective:Unconscious for the second monthly edition of Pinchbottom's Sub:Conscious. This time, the theme is Science Fiction, with tassel-twirling tributes to Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Godzilla, Deep Space Nine, living dolls, robots, clones, and alien abductions, including three galaxy-premiere burlesque acts, never seen on any stage in the known universe!

"One might be surprised," says Pinchbottom, "given the cliched image of less-than-attractive gentlemen clad as Klingons, to find that quite a few beautiful women are closeted Science Fiction fans. But one would be nothing short of delighted -- as I was -- to discover that several of these beautiful women also have a strong interest in taking off their clothes on stage. Learning this (as a geek myself), I had no option but to encourage these ladies to combine the two passions."

The rocket to NAKED PLANET launches from the Collective:Unconscious spaceport at 10pm on May 19th, 2006.

Pinchbottom Burlesque Entertainments has previously produced themed burlesque shows such as Cold War Burlesque at Siberia, and Burlesque Goes to the Movies at Galapagos. ABOUT THE HOSTS
Hosts NASTY CANASTA & JONNY PORKPIE should probably not be described at the Lunt-Fontannes of the New York Burlesque scene, although they do perform together with alarming frequency. Their ecdysiastical duets and acclaimed puppet burlesque acts have appeared at The Slipper Room, RiFiFi, Galapagos Artspace, Le Scandal, Show, Southpaw, HERE, and The New York Burlesque Festival, as well as with Punch! Puppetry Cabaret, Drama of Works, Slutty Puppets, and more. Nasty Canasta is a winner of a 2005 New York Burlesque Festival award for "Hottest Freshman", and is a member of Red Hots Burlesque, whose School of Shimmy burlesque classes were recently featured in The New York Times and the Associated Press.
